Interestingly these Zebra babaulti shrimp have the ability to change color very quickly when they’re startled - this makes them look particularly stunning against a dark background. 

Babaulti shrimp can easily be kept with other Caridinia shrimp as well as Neocaridina shrimp. There is no risk of crossbreeding between caridina and neocaridina shrimp. A must for every tank! 

These are slow and calm ….so they appreciate friends of all types of a similar nature.

Our recommendations:

The shrimp do well in a sizeable colony of between 10-20 shrimp. This is to ensure there is a good mixture of sexes within the colony. And the shrimp is more active once in numbers. 

Usual maintenance: Usual maintenance: Feed the shrimp at least three times a week, with a wide range of foods.
