Name: Yellow Nose Shrimp

Scientific species name: SULAWESI species

Grade for sale: N/A

Water parameters:

All these sulawesi species prefer aquarium with sand or inert substrate. They are freshwater species

The recommended parameters are below

PH: 7 to 8.5
GH: 4-10
KH: 3-8
Nitrate: 0-20ppm
Temperature: 28 to 30 degree

Our recommendations:

The shrimp do well in a sizeable colony of between 20-30 shrimp. They are very shy shrimp and only come out of hiding if their colony is big. These shrimp can do well in tropical fish tank conditions, especially in water parameters similar to cichlid, with temperate of 28 to 30 degree. They don't require any specific needs but to keep the water clean with low nitrate reading is a must at all time.

On the other hand, the large colony to start with is to ensure there is a good mixture of sexes within the colony.

We do not recommend keeping any fish with these Sulawesi shrimp.

Usual maintenance: Feed the shrimp at least three times a week, with a wide range of foods. At Shrimp Corner, we feed our shrimp with Go Nature shrimp food, which is a natural shrimp food from natural ingredients. We also feed our shrimp with our A food, which is plant base protein containing seaweed, providing lean and optimal nutrients for shrimp. And once a week we feed our shrimp with Type B food, this is a protein base food to increase the growth rate of our shrimp, thus shrimp breed faster & females can carry more eggs. All of these foods were developed by us, over 10 years of breeding experience, we have bred thousands of shrimp.

On a serious note, do not feed shrimp with any foods contain copper.
