Ramshorn snails don't require any specific needs but to keep the water clean with low nitrate reading is a must at all time.
Upon arrival of the snails, please let the bag(s) warm up in room temperature for an hour, this is to adjust the temperature of the water inside the bag slowly. Then you can start to drip acclimating them slowly.
Ramshorn snails reproduce, population control may be needed with time.
We do not recommend keeping any snail eating fish or loaches with these snails
Usual maintenance: Feed the snails at least three times a week, with a wide range of foods. At Shrimp Corner, we feed our snails with blanched vegetables like spinach or fruit like cucumber also fish flakes. We also feed our snails with our with our Vegetable shrimp bars, which is plant base protein containing seaweed, providing lean and optimal nutrients.
On a serious note, do not feed shrimp with any foods contain copper.
